Toks Omishakin is starting his third year as California’s Secretary of Transportation, where he leads eight state departments, boards and commissions that, combined, have more than 42,000 employees and a budget that exceeds $30 billion annually.\n2024 looks to be a pivotal year in transportation for the Bay Area and California at-large.
