When it comes to doing business in the Bay Area, SVLG is known for hosting intimate gatherings with luminaries, dignitaries, and community leaders. Members get exclusive access to in-depth discussions that contribute to a measurable impact on the competitiveness of our region, your employees’ quality of life, and your community.

SVLG delivers opportunities to develop relationships with influential public figures, including local and state officials and public utilities commissioners, among many others. In Silicon Valley and Washington, D.C., just some of the people we have met with include: Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Gov. Gavin Newsom, Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis and dozens of other top federal, congressional and state leaders.

Our programming adds value across several metrics, including: leadership, board readiness, inclusion and belonging, and ESG connected disciplines. We’re actively supporting the next cohort of diverse board and corporate leadership candidates via our Next Generation Board Network program, sponsored by EY and Equilar, and our partnership on Pledge 25×25 Additionally, we’re working with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), focusing on the next generation of skilled workers through partnerships with those in the higher-education and post-secondary spaces.

SVLG is where technology, innovation, public policy, advocacy and governance meet. Our staff is composed of experts spanning a range of disciplines, and with experience at all levels of government. Leveraging decades of knowledge, SVLG focuses on catalyzing a more inclusive, equitable and sustainable future for Silicon Valley and beyond. With our three Centers of Expertise, SVLG members concentrate on driving impact around innovation, inclusion and sustainable growth.

SVLG offers members a variety of marketing and brand-building opportunities, including a range of sponsorship opportunities available for many of our group events. And we now offer enhanced media production and marketing services for members to drive messaging along key brand, impact and policy priorities.

Research shows that nearly 90 percent of companies that measure the connection between volunteer participation and employee engagement find a positive correlation between the two. In addition to our work in the public policy space, we are also active and visible in the community, providing member companies with opportunities to volunteer, support and work directly with community leaders via the Silicon Valley Leadership Group Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization.
